Does anti dandruff shampoo work?

Dandruff has been an issue for a while now, and it's quite annoying. My mom keeps telling me to use anti-dandruff shampoo, but I'm not sure if it really works effectively. Does it actually get rid of dandruff completely?

It works, but honestly, you have to fix your internal health too. When I cut down on greasy junk food and started drinking more water, my scalp sweat didn't cause as much buildup. Use the shampoo to clean the outside, but sweat it out in the gym and eat clean for best results.

Yes, they do help in clearing the scalp, but do not let this small issue stress your mind. Keep a positive outlook and wash your hair mindfully twice a week. Taking care of your body is a form of self-love, so treat yourself gently.

They work for normal dandruff, but please don't make the mistake I did. I kept using over-the-counter shampoos for a year ignoring what was actually scalp psoriasis, and it got severely infected. If your flakes don't go away in a few weeks, please see a dermatologist immediately.

Haan yaar, they definitely work, but you have to leave them on your scalp for like 3-4 minutes before washing it off. Earlier I used to just wash it off instantly like normal shampoo and it did nothing. Try this trick, it actually makes a huge difference!

Yes, they work because they contain active antifungal ingredients like ketoconazole or selenium sulfide. However, the effectiveness depends entirely on the type of scalp issue you have. Consulting a doctor to get the right formulation is always the most effective path.
