Does amlodipine cause erectile dysfunction?

I've been on Amlodipine for my high blood pressure, and I've noticed some changes in my sex drive. I'm wondering if Amlodipine can cause erectile dysfunction. This is a bit concerning for me.

In my experience, blood circulation improves when you manage stress. Amlodipine rarely causes this directly, but doing daily Pranayama and keeping your mind calm can help restore natural vitality.

Haan na, this can sometimes happen with BP medicines, though it's rare with amlodipine. High BP itself can also cause this issue. Talk to your doc openly, they can easily change the medicine if needed.

While it is uncommon for amlodipine to cause this, you should get a complete health checkup. Sometimes diabetes or high cholesterol is the actual cause. Do not stop your BP medication without consulting your physician.

As a medical professional, I can tell you that amlodipine actually has a lower risk of causing ED compared to beta-blockers. Don't worry, but if you do notice changes, just mention it to your doctor to adjust your therapy.

Managing high blood pressure itself is tiring enough, and now this worry! Honestly, it's quite rare with this drug, but if you feel something is off, don't shy away from asking your doctor to swap it.
