Does alka seltzer help with tooth pain?

My grandson has a bad toothache and we are looking for some immediate relief. His mother mentioned Alka-Seltzer, but I thought it was only for acidity. Does Alka-Seltzer help with tooth pain too?

Honestly, I panicked so much last month when my molar started throbbing at midnight and I tried all sorts of random things. Alka seltzer might give some mild temporary relief because of the aspirin content, but it's not a real cure for deep dental pain. Don't worry, just hang in there and get a proper dental checkup in the morning.

Please don't experiment with random fizzing tablets for tooth pain without asking a doctor first. Dental infections can spread very quickly if you try to suppress the pain at home. It is always safer to get it checked by a dentist immediately to find the root cause.

Bhai, tooth pain can make anyone very restless, I understand your trouble. These foreign tablets might help a little with headache but won't do much for bad toothaches. Try to rinse your mouth with warm salt water right now, it gives simple and safe relief till you see a doctor.

Haan na, tooth pain is really unbearable, normal routine gets totally disturbed. Alka seltzer se kuch zyada farak nahi padega honestly. It is better to take a proper dentist's appointment than trying these quick fixes at home, ho na?

I had this horrible throbbing pain last week and was too scared to do anything, has anyone else tried putting ice packs on the cheek? Did it help you guys at all? I felt like alka seltzer would just bubble up and make me feel weird, so I avoided it.

Alka seltzer is mainly formulated for heartburn and basic body aches, not specific dental issues. If you track your health habits, you'll know that masking tooth pain with antacids isn't sustainable. Better to get a clinical diagnosis because you might need an antibiotic or a proper filling.

Beta, at this age I have seen many people trying all kinds of tablets, but teeth need proper care. You can gently place a single clove or a tiny drop of clove oil on the aching tooth for temporary comfort tonight. But do make sure to visit a dentist tomorrow morning, do not ignore it.

Oh god, tooth pain is the absolute worst, I always get so anxious thinking it will turn into a major infection. I wouldn't risk using alka seltzer because the fizzing might irritate your gums even more if there is a cut. Just try to stay calm, take a regular painkiller if your doctor suggested one, and book an appointment tomorrow.

Why go for expensive imported tablets when we have simpler ways? Just do warm water gargles with a bit of salt three times a day to keep the area clean. If the pain is too much, just ask your local pharmacist for a standard pain relief gel and see your dentist soon.
