Does aleve help with stomach pain?
Since yesterday, my stomach has been bothering me a lot. A friend suggested I try Aleve, but I'm not sure if it's meant for stomach pain. Can anyone tell me if it helps with this kind of discomfort?

Nahi yaar, pet dard me Aleve mat lena. Yeh toh painkiller hai aur stomach lining ko irritate kar sakti hai, acidity aur badh jayegi na. Kisi doctor se pooch ke koi specific pet dard ki goli lo.
Oh, actually Aleve might not be the best idea for stomach pain! 😣 It's an NSAID, so it can actually irritate your stomach lining and make it feel worse. Better to check with a doctor for something gentler!
I agree, Aleve is not meant for stomach pain and can cause acidity. Try drinking warm fennel (saunf) water instead and consult a doctor.
Beta, in my experience, painkillers like Aleve make stomach pain worse by causing burning. In our days, we used to drink warm water with a pinch of hing for gas or indigestion. If the pain is severe, please see a doctor immediately.
No, it's generally not recommended for stomach pain. Having thyroid issues has taught me to always consult my doctor before taking any random medicine. It's much safer to get a proper checkup to find the cause of the stomach ache.
No, Aleve can be harsh on the gut. For mild stomach discomfort from gas or heavy food, a gentle 15-minute walk can really help digestion if your doctor allows. But skip the painkiller for stomach issues.

Please don't do that, unless you want a raging stomach burn to keep you awake all night like me. Aleve is great for joints, but for the stomach, it's like adding fuel to fire. Better ask a pharmacist for antacids instead.
At my age, my stomach protests if I even look at a samosa, and taking Aleve for stomach pain would be a complete disaster. It will only increase acidity. Go to a doc, get a proper prescription, and stick to simple home-cooked khichdi for a day.
