Does aleve help with back pain?

I've had this nagging lower back pain for a few weeks now, especially after sitting for long hours at work. My colleague told me Aleve works well for him for this kind of pain. Should I try it for my back pain?

Yes, it does help ease back pain. Take care of yourself and try to rest a bit while you recover.

It can give temporary relief, but back pain can sometimes be due to nerve compression or posture issues. If your pain is radiating down your leg or is very severe, please don't just take pills. Get it checked by a doctor properly.

Look, Aleve will definitely reduce the swelling and pain in your back for a few hours. But sitting on a bad chair all day will just bring it back. Fix your posture, do some basic stretches, and don't rely only on painkillers.

I panicked so much when I had a sudden lower back spasm last month and thought it was something major. My doc told me to relax and prescribed this. It worked really well and the pain was gone in a few days. You will be fine, just don't stress.

My back has been hurting from long study hours and I am thinking of trying Aleve. Does it cause any sleepiness? I hope it won't affect my studies if I take it during the day.

I literally just got over a bad back pull from lifting heavy luggage. Aleve really helped me get through those first two painful days so I could at least walk. Combined with a heating pad, it worked wonders for me.
