Does aimovig cause memory problems diarrhea insomnia or muscle pain?

My neurologist recommended Aimovig for my chronic migraines. I'm trying to research the side effects before I start. Does Aimovig cause memory problems, diarrhea, insomnia, or muscle pain?

My cousin advised me to try some herbal pastes for my migraines, but I chose to stick with my doctor's prescription of Aimovig. While I didn't face memory issues, I did feel a bit of mild stomach upset initially. It is always best to report these symptoms to your neurologist directly as they know your history.

Hey, don't panic reading all the potential side effects online. Some people do experience muscle pain or sleep issues when starting new migraine shots, but it varies a lot from person to person. Just keep a small diary of how you feel daily and show it to your doctor on your next visit.

I usually prefer drinking ginger tea or using cold compresses for my headaches instead of heavy medications. But if you are already taking Aimovig and experiencing severe diarrhea or insomnia, these are not things you can cure with home remedies. Please visit your clinic and let them evaluate these side effects.

Actually yaar, migraine medications can react differently for everyone. One of my friends was on this and she complained about feeling super tired and having trouble sleeping in the first month. Better not to ignore it if the muscle pain or diarrhea is getting too annoying, just ask your doc.

I have seen several discussions about Aimovig in our migraine support groups. While constipation is the most common stomach issue reported, some people do complain of sleep disturbances and muscle aches. It is important to discuss this with your physician so they can adjust the dosage or suggest an alternative.
