Does aetna cover zepbound for sleep apnea?

My doctor recently mentioned a new medication called Zepbound, which might also help with my sleep apnea in addition to weight. I'm wondering if Aetna covers Zepbound for sleep apnea treatment.

Getting insurance approval can be a bit of a process but don't lose hope! Sleep apnea is so tough, but getting the right treatment makes a world of difference for your energy levels. 😊

While you work on getting Zepbound approved, focusing on your sleeping posture and light cardiovascular exercise can help a lot with sleep apnea. Of course, discuss with your doctor before starting any new routine.

Please make sure you have a proper sleep study report (polysomnography) done at a certified clinic. Aetna will definitely ask for these diagnostic reports before they even consider covering a premium drug like Zepbound.

You should check your health insurance app's drug formulary search tool. Sometimes they list specific criteria for Zepbound, like requiring you to try CPAP therapy first before they approve the medication.

Dealing with sleep issues is incredibly exhausting. I really hope your doctor and insurance can coordinate this smoothly for you.

I read so many articles about sleep apnea and heart risks that I can't sleep at night. I hope Aetna makes it easy for you to get this medicine because health stress is just the worst.

I was told Zepbound is only approved for weight loss, not sleep apnea directly. Has anyone actually managed to get Aetna to cover it specifically for breathing issues? I am worried they will reject my claim instantly.
