Does adenomyosis cause pain when not menstruating?

I've been diagnosed with adenomyosis, and the period pain is terrible. But sometimes I also get cramps and a heavy feeling in my lower abdomen even when I'm not on my period. Is this normal with adenomyosis?

My partner has this and she gets chronic pelvic pain even on non-period days. Keeping inflammation down with daily light stretching and a clean diet really helps her manage the daily discomfort.

My sister went through this and used to have constant lower back and pelvic pain almost the whole month, not just during her cycle. It's a real thing, so don't think it's just normal period pain.

I have been feeling this constant heavy pulling pain in my lower abdomen even two weeks after my period ends. Is this really common with adenomyosis? I am starting to feel very anxious about it.

Yes, chronic pelvic pain is a classic symptom of adenomyosis because of the enlarged uterus. Don't rely on online self-diagnosis or random herbal teas; get a proper pelvic MRI or ultrasound from a specialist.

I used to have constant dull aching throughout the month and ignored it thinking it was just stress. It turned out to be severe adenomyosis, so please get an ultrasound done and see a gynecologist before it worsens.
