Does acupuncture work for back pain?

I've been dealing with persistent back pain for months, and I'm open to trying alternative treatments. I've heard mixed reviews about acupuncture. Does acupuncture actually work for back pain, or is it mostly a placebo?

Haan na, back pain can be so annoying. My neighbor tried acupuncture for her severe lower back issue and she got really good relief, ho na. Just make sure to choose a certified professional, don't go to any untrained person.

My son developed bad back stiffness due to sitting long hours for his board exams. We tried a few sessions of gentle acupuncture along with hot therapy, and it really helped ease his muscle tightness. It's a safe option if done by a qualified therapist.

I got terrible back pain from standing in the kitchen for hours baking my favorite cakes. Acupuncture actually helped relax my stiff back muscles so I could get back to cooking. It's definitely worth a try if your back is stopping you from doing what you love.

Acupuncture is widely recognized as an effective complementary therapy for chronic lower back pain. It helps by releasing muscle tension and stimulating the body's natural pain-relieving chemicals. However, it's best to consult your doctor first to rule out any spinal issues.

It can help reduce the immediate pain, but you should also focus on strengthening your core. Once your doctor gives you the green light, try to include regular walking and light back-strengthening exercises. Relying only on needles won't give a permanent solution.

I was suffering from chronic lower back pain for six months and finally tried acupuncture last month. After about 4 sessions, the sharp ache turned into a very mild, manageable stiffness. It worked really well for me when painkillers weren't helping anymore.

Honestly, my back feels like a broken branch because of my terrible sleeping postures and working late nights. I haven't tried acupuncture yet because the idea of being a human pincushion scares me. But if it actually works, maybe I'll lose my fear of needles and try it.
