Does acetaminophen hurt liver?

I have chronic joint pain and often rely on painkillers. I'm concerned about taking too much acetaminophen, as I've heard it can be harsh on the liver. Does acetaminophen really hurt the liver if used regularly?

Bro, it only hurts your liver if you go crazy and take too many pills. If you are just taking one for a hangover or fever, you're fine, but don't make it a daily habit.

Our poor liver already handles so much oily food and stress, and yes, too much paracetamol can really damage it. Just don't treat these pills like candies. If your ache is that bad, go to a doctor.

In my 60 years, I have taken paracetamol many times for seasonal flu and never had issues. The key is moderation and avoiding alcohol when you take it. Follow your doctor's word and you will be completely safe.

Please be very careful with this. I once took multiple cold medicines together without realizing they all had acetaminophen, and my liver enzymes shot up. Always check with a doctor if you are taking other medications.

Haan ji, jyada khane se liver par asar padta hai. Mere chacha ne bina doctor se puche roz khana shuru kar diya tha aur unko takleef ho gayi thi. Humesha doctor ki salah se hi dawai lein.

Yes, it can cause severe liver damage if you exceed the daily limit of 4 grams. Between hectic meetings, don't just blindly pop painkillers; always read the dosage on the back of the strip.
