Does a yeast infection cause pain?

I've developed a painful lump, and I think it might be an abscess. Along with the pain, I'm feeling quite warm and generally unwell. Does an abscess usually cause a fever as a symptom?

Yes, it can cause a lot of burning and raw pain down there. Applying a bit of cold curd can give temporary soothing relief, but please don't ignore it if the pain is severe. You must consult a doctor for proper antifungal treatment.

I went through a phase where I had recurring yeast infections, and it was so painful and emotionally draining. It makes you feel so uncomfortable even sitting down or walking. Please know you are not alone, and getting the right medical help will make the pain go away soon.

It definitely causes a lot of discomfort and a raw, burning pain. It is very common, so please don't feel embarrassed to talk about it. Usually, a simple course of oral pills or vaginal pessaries prescribed by a doctor works wonders in 3-5 days.

A yeast infection causes inflammation of the vaginal tissues, which leads to soreness, burning during urination, and pain during intercourse. My doctor explained that the intense itching itself causes micro-tears in the skin, which makes it feel very painful. Antifungal creams usually clear this up quickly.

I literally just finished my medication for this last week. The pain and soreness were so bad that even wearing jeans was impossible. After just two days of the doctor's prescribed ointment, the pain completely vanished. Don't suffer silently, just get the prescription.

I totally get it, that burning pain and constant itching can drive you absolutely crazy. It makes it hard to focus on anything else during the day. Try wearing loose cotton clothes for now and book a quick visit with your gynecologist to get some relief.

Oh, tell me about it! As if handling daily chores wasn't enough, this infection adds a whole new level of burning misery. Yes, it hurts, especially when you try to walk around. Save yourself the trouble, go to the clinic, and get the medicine instead of waiting it out.

I was actually reading about this because my friend was complaining of similar burning pain. It seems yeast infections can get really raw and painful if not treated on time. I hope you find some relief soon, please do get it checked by a doc!
