Does a tb test hurt?

I might need to get a TB test done soon for some paperwork. Just wondering, in general, is a TB test painful or is it pretty quick and harmless?

I completely understand how stressful even a small test can feel when you are already anxious about your health. But honestly, whether it's the blood test or the skin prick, the physical pain is very minor, just like a quick needle pinch. You will be fine.

Since I have to get blood tests regularly for my PCOS, I can tell you that a TB blood test (IGRA) is just a standard blood draw. If it's the skin test, it's just a tiny bubble under the skin which is slightly itchy but not really painful.

Bilkul chinta mat karo beta, bahut chhota sa sui ka nishan hota hai. It doesn't hurt much at all, just like a small ant bite. Doctors do it very gently.

I have to go for my TB skin test tomorrow and I am so anxious about how it feels. Does the spot get red and painful afterwards? Would love to know if others felt nervous too.

If you can survive Indian traffic, a tiny TB test needle is absolutely nothing! It's just a blink-and-miss pinch, so don't sweat it at all.

Had to get one done for my college visa. Honestly, it's a joke, barely felt it. Just a tiny prick on the arm and you are out of the lab in two minutes.
