Does a tb shot hurt?

I have to get a TB shot soon for my visa application, and I'm a bit nervous about needles. Is the TB shot known to be particularly painful, or is it just like any other injection?

A tiny injection pinch is absolutely nothing compared to the pain of ignoring health steps. I once ignored a cough that turned out to be serious, so please just get the shot done if the doctor recommended it. It's a quick sting but saves your life.

It hurts a little bit, like a normal vaccine pinch, but the soreness goes away in a day.

Honestly, it just feels like a sharp ant bite for a second! Treat yourself to a nice cold cold-coffee or a hot samosa right after, and you won't even remember the pain. It's totally manageable.

Don't listen to exaggerated stories online about injection pain. It's a standard intradermal shot that causes a tiny local bump which is completely normal. Consult your clinic doctor if you have genuine concerns about the vaccine.

I have to get my BCG shot next week and I am honestly so scared of needles. Does the spot swell up or ache for many days after the injection? Please let me know.
