Do you need to fast for a tb test?
My office requires all employees to get a TB test every couple of years. I have my appointment next Tuesday. Should I avoid eating or drinking anything before going for a TB test, or is fasting not necessary?

For a standard TB skin test (Mantoux) or even the TB blood test (IGRA), fasting is actually not required. You can eat and drink normally before you go to the clinic. Just make sure to stay hydrated so the lab tech can find your vein easily.
Thank goodness, no fasting required for this one! My joint pains and backaches are enough of a torture, I don't think I could survive an empty stomach on top of it. Eat your breakfast peacefully before going.
