Do you dream in rem sleep?

Learning about sleep cycles and different stages, we discussed REM sleep and its connection to dreams. Is it accurate to say that all, or most, of our dreaming activity happens specifically during the REM sleep phase?

Yes, from what I have read, REM sleep is the main stage where we dream. I am not an expert on sleep cycles, but managing my lifestyle and stress has really helped me get more restful sleep phases. It is always good to consult a doctor if you feel very tired.

Yes, dreaming happens in REM sleep. My son used to wake up crying from very vivid dreams during this phase. We found that keeping a peaceful, screen-free routine for one hour before bed really helped calm his mind down.

Yes, REM is the prime dreaming phase. I notice my REM sleep quality improves a lot when I do regular evening walks or light cardio, as it helps tire the body naturally. Just make sure to get your doctor's okay if you are starting a new workout routine.

I was just reading a science blog about this! Yes, REM sleep is exactly when our most vivid and emotional dreams happen because our brain activity looks almost like we are awake. It is super fascinating how the body works.

Oh absolutely, REM is like the Netflix of the brain! That is when all the crazy action movies and weird dreams happen. Don't worry, it just means your brain is busy entertaining you while you rest!

Yes, REM is when those intense, lifelike dreams happen. I used to suffer from terrible nightmares during REM because of high stress, and it was so emotionally draining. Please take care of your mental peace, it directly affects how you dream.
