Do you always run a fever with covid?

With the newer variants of Covid, the symptoms seem to be changing. I always thought a fever was a definite symptom. Do you always run a fever if you have Covid-19, or can you be asymptomatic for fever?

Beta, in our days we thought sickness always meant a hot body, but this new virus is different. Many people get it with just a dry throat and mild weakness, without any fever. Keep drinking warm water and taking light kadha, but remember to consult a proper doctor if you feel uneasy.

Not at all! Covid is like that uninvited guest who doesn't always announce themselves with a loud fever bell. I had the virus last year and my body temperature was cooler than my air conditioner, though my nose was running like a tap. So don't trust the thermometer blindly!

My joints were aching like I had run a marathon, but my temperature was a perfect 98.4. Covid can definitely slip past without a fever, so don't assume you are safe just because you don't feel hot. At my age, I've learned that symptoms love to play hide and seek.

I was actually reading some health articles on this recently, and it turns out a significant percentage of people are completely afebrile during covid infection. It's crazy how it affects everyone so differently! Definitely makes you realize you can't just rely on a thermometer to be sure.

Boss, seedhi baat hai, fever hona koi compulsion nahi hai covid mein. Mujhe khud jab hua tha toh fever bilkul nahi tha, bas gale mein khich-khich thi aur taste chala gaya tha. Agar thoda sa bhi doubt lag raha hai toh test karwa lo aur doctor se baat karo, tension mat lo.

Nahi lalla, aisa zaroori nahi hai. Hamare padosi ko jab corona hua tha toh unhe ratti bhar bhi bukhar nahi chada, bas thodi khansi thi aur thakan thi. Isliye dhyan rakho aur turant kisi acche daktar babu ko dikha lo.

When I tested positive, my temperature was totally normal but I felt a bit lethargic. I wanted to continue my daily jogging, but my doctor advised strict rest and only very light walking inside the house once my energy levels stabilized. Please consult your physician before doing any exercise if you suspect you have it.
