Do we lose an hour of sleep in march?

My relatives in the US were complaining about losing an hour of sleep in March due to daylight saving. I don't really understand this concept; does something similar happen in India that could affect our sleep?

Honestly, I feel like I lose sleep every single day of the year, not just in March! But jokes aside, that daylight savings change doesn't happen in India. Our clocks stay exactly the same, so no need to worry about losing any extra time.

In India, we don't lose any hour of sleep because we don't follow daylight savings. Maintaining a steady routine is crucial for managing diabetes, so I make sure to sleep and eat my meals at the exact same time daily.

My son was asking me this same question last week after reading something online. I told him we don't have daylight saving time in India, so his bedtime schedule remains completely unaffected. You can sleep peacefully.

Don't get confused by what you see on social media, okay? That time jump in March only happens in the US and Europe. Our time remains exactly the same, so you won't lose even a minute of your sleep.

We don't lose any sleep time here as India doesn't use DST. But if you are experiencing tiredness or sleep issues around March, it could be a health issue like thyroid. It's always best to get your blood checked regularly and consult your doctor.

Aisa kuch nahi hota bhaiya humare yahan. India mein time bilkul change nahi hota hai March mein. Aap aaram se apni poori neend lijiye bina kisi chinta ke.
