Do we get an extra hour of sleep tonight?
My sister living in the UK messaged me saying she's getting an extra hour of sleep tonight. I was curious if India also has any such time changes that affect our sleep schedule?

I was just reading about this on Google because my cousin in the US mentioned it. Actually, in India, we don't follow daylight savings, so our clocks stay exactly the same tonight. No extra sleep for us unfortunately.
No, we don't. Daylight savings is not a thing in India at all. Your phone and watch will show the exact same time tomorrow morning, so just plan your sleep accordingly.
There is no extra hour for us tonight as our Indian time doesn't change. If you're struggling to fall asleep, a warm chamomile tea or soaking your feet in warm water helps. But if you have chronic insomnia, better to consult a doctor.
I also got so confused last year when my phone showed a different time zone alert and I panicked thinking I messed up my schedule. Relax, our Indian Standard Time remains completely unchanged tonight. It's totally normal to get confused by these global news updates.

Haha, I wish we got an extra hour, then I would have used it to enjoy a late-night biryani. But no, we don't get any extra time tonight in India. Just stick to your usual bedtime routine and maybe a light midnight snack.
