Do uterine polyps cause pain?

I recently had a check-up and the doctor mentioned uterine polyps. I've been having some unusual spotting and mild cramping. Can uterine polyps be the reason for this pain?

Yes, uterine polyps can cause mild cramping and pelvic pain, though sometimes they have no symptoms at all.

I have been feeling some sharp cramping lately and the doctor suspected polyps. Did anyone else here experience sharp lower belly pain before their diagnosis, or is it usually just heavy bleeding?

I am a bit nervous about this. My doctor mentioned uterine polyps might be causing my irregular cycles, but does the pain get worse during periods? If anyone could share, it would help me prepare.

My mother-in-law suggested some herbal teas for my pelvic pain, but I preferred to consult my doctor first. Uterine polyps can indeed cause discomfort and spotting, so it is always best to follow the doctor's line of treatment.

Yes, polyps can cause pelvic pain and abnormal bleeding. Please get it checked by a gynecologist to confirm there are no other issues needing attention.

I tried all kinds of hot fermentations and special diets to cure my pelvic aching, but nothing worked for the polyps. Honestly, only medical removal gave me relief. Don't waste time on home remedies for this.

I've been reading so much about this and keeping myself awake at night. They say polyps can cause dull ache, but please don't panic like I did; just get an appointment to ease your mind.

Yes, polyps can cause uterine cramping because the body tries to push them out, similar to period cramps. Get a hysteroscopy done if your doctor advises it; it's a very standard procedure.

Hi! Polyps can cause cramping because they act like a foreign body in the uterus. If you're having persistent pelvic pain or spotting between periods, book an appointment with your gynecologist to get a scan.

Don't listen to people online selling miracle cures for polyps. Some polyps cause pain and some don't, but only an ultrasound by a proper doctor can give you the real picture.
