Do ulcer cause stomach pain?

I've been experiencing persistent burning stomach pain, especially after meals, and sometimes at night. My aunt said it sounds like an ulcer. Do ulcers typically cause significant stomach pain, and is that a common symptom?

Yes, ulcers definitely cause burning stomach pain, especially on an empty stomach. I've found that avoiding spicy foods, green chillies, and fried items helps keep the stomach lining calm. But please make sure you consult a doctor for proper diagnosis.

Haan, stomach pain is very common with ulcers, it burns a lot inside. Please drink cool milk in the morning, it will give some relief to your chest and stomach. But do show a doctor in town so it doesn't grow more.

Ulcers definitely cause a nagging, burning pain in the upper stomach. Drinking cold milk or coconut water can soothe the burning sensation temporarily. However, stomach issues should not be ignored, so please visit a doctor for proper medicine.

Yes, stomach ulcers cause intense pain, especially when you are fasting or empty stomach. If you are working out, make sure you aren't taking pre-workout supplements on an empty stomach as it can aggravate the lining. Focus on clean, bland foods.

Ulcers certainly cause burning stomach pain. Instead of trying random expensive tonics, go to a general physician first. Eat simple khichdi for a few days, avoid outside junk food, and take the prescribed antacids on time.

I have been having this burning pain in my upper stomach for three days now, especially at night. Could this be an ulcer or is it just normal acidity? Has anyone else felt this kind of constant burning?

Yes, they cause a lot of pain. My son had similar stomach pain last year, and the doctor found a small ulcer. We had to give him non-spicy meals and strict medicines for a month. Please get an endoscopy or checkup done if the pain persists.
