Do u run a fever with pneumonia?

I've been having a severe cough and difficulty breathing for a few days, and my neighbour suggested it could be pneumonia. I don't have a high fever, though. Do you always run a fever if you have pneumonia, or can it be present without one?

Yes, a high fever is very common with pneumonia. I delayed going to the hospital thinking it was a normal seasonal fever, and it turned into a severe lung infection with hospital admission. Please consult a doctor immediately if you suspect pneumonia.

Bro, pneumonia is no joke, my roommate had it last semester and he had a crazy high fever and constant chills. He had to skip classes for two weeks. Definitely get it checked by a doc before it gets worse.

Pneumonia usually brings a very strong fever and congestion. You can inhale some steam with a drop of eucalyptus oil to ease the breathing, but don't try to treat this at home. Go to a good physician immediately.

Usually, yes, a fever is the body's reaction to the infection. My grandmother used to say warm pepper rasam helps soothe the chest, but for pneumonia, you must completely trust the doctor's antibiotics course. Please take care.

A fever is almost always present with lung infections like pneumonia. Sipping warm tulsi and ginger tea can give you some comfort from the cough, but pneumonia is serious and you must take proper medical treatment from a doctor.

Yes, fever is a major symptom, and I get so anxious even thinking about it. What if the temperature doesn't come down? Please keep a thermometer handy, track the readings, and contact a hospital if it stays very high.

Haan bilkul, pneumonia mein toh tez bukhar aata hi hai, sath mein khansi bhi hoti hai. Isko normal thand mat samjho na, turant kisi achhe doctor ko dikhao aur checkup karwao.

Yes, fever is typical. During this time, your body needs light, warm, and easily digestible foods like moong dal khichdi or vegetable broth. Avoid heavy, oily foods, but remember that diet only supports recovery—the actual cure is the doctor's medicine.

Fever is standard since your immune system is fighting a heavy infection. Avoid any heavy workouts or running, and just focus on absolute bed rest. Only do short, light walks inside your room if your doctor explicitly allows it.

I know how terrifying it feels when you have a high fever and you start googling symptoms. Yes, fever is very common with pneumonia, but panicking will only make your chest feel tighter. Take deep breaths and book a doctor's appointment.
