Do u get a fever with bronchitis?

I've had a bad cough for a few days, and my chest feels heavy. I'm wondering if it could be bronchitis. Do you typically get a fever when you have bronchitis, or can it come without one?

Yes, a mild fever is quite common when you have bronchitis, as your body is fighting the infection. My grandmother always suggests warm rasam and steam inhalation, but please consult a doctor to ensure it doesn't turn into something more serious.

Yes, you can get a fever. As a diabetic, any infection like bronchitis can cause my blood sugar levels to shoot up quickly. Please monitor your temperature and your sugars closely, and consult your physician for the right treatment.

Oh, having a fever and bronchitis totally ruins your appetite! I had it last winter and couldn't taste my favorite spicy noodles for a week. A low fever is normal, but if it gets very high, definitely skip the self-care and go see a doctor.

When I had acute bronchitis a few months ago, I had a persistent low-grade fever around 100 degrees for the first three days, along with a nasty cough. It slowly went away as the chest congestion cleared up, but everyone's body reacts differently.

I had bronchitis last year and it was so exhausting, I had a mild fever and chills for the first couple of days. Drinking warm turmeric milk and taking plenty of rest helped me recover. Please take care and don't hesitate to see a doctor if you feel very weak.
