Do type 1 diabetes produce insulin?

My younger cousin was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and we're all trying to understand it better. I'm a bit confused about insulin production. Do people with Type 1 diabetes produce any insulin at all, or is it completely absent?

No bro, we don't. I was diagnosed with Type 1 when I was 15, and my pancreas basically stopped making insulin completely. That is why we have to take insulin shots or use a pump every single day to survive.

In Type 1 diabetes, the body's immune system unfortunately attacks the cells that make insulin, so they cannot produce it at all. While a clean, low-glycemic vegetarian diet is great for managing health, it cannot replace the insulin they must take. Always consult a specialist.

Let's be clear on this: Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune condition where the pancreas produces zero insulin. It is completely different from Type 2. People with Type 1 absolutely depend on external insulin injections daily to manage their blood sugar.

Hey, don't stress too much about all these medical terms! Simply put, a Type 1 diabetic's body doesn't make insulin at all. They just have to take it from outside, but with modern treatment, they live perfectly active and happy lives.

My 10-year-old son has Type 1, so I know this inside out. His pancreas doesn't produce any insulin at all. It was tough to accept at first, but with regular monitoring and insulin doses, he plays sports and is doing wonderfully well.

No, Type 1 diabetics do not produce insulin. If you or a family member are showing symptoms like extreme thirst or rapid weight loss, don't waste time on online searches. Go directly to an endocrinologist for a proper blood test.

Dealing with PCOS has taught me a lot about hormones and insulin resistance. But Type 1 is very different—their bodies don't produce insulin at all because of an autoimmune response. It is a serious condition that always requires proper medical supervision.

My body struggles to manage blood sugar too, but Type 1 is a different ball game—their pancreas has basically retired and produces zero insulin. They have to inject it daily. It sounds tough, but they manage it like champions!

No, they don't produce any insulin naturally. While some home remedies like jamun seed powder or bitter gourd juice can support general sugar health, they cannot cure Type 1. This condition absolutely requires medical insulin therapy under a doctor's care.

I get so worried reading about chronic conditions, and it is scary to think about. From what I understand, Type 1 means the body cannot make insulin at all. If you are researching this because you are worried about someone, please stay strong and help them consult a good doctor.

No, they do not produce insulin. Their pancreas has stopped making it, so they must take it externally.

No, their pancreas doesn't make insulin. While regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle are amazing for keeping the body sensitive to insulin, people with Type 1 still must take their daily doses. Always follow your doctor's fitness and medicine plan.
