Do tylenol help with stomach pain?

I've got this nagging stomach pain, and I'm wondering what I can take for it. I have Tylenol at home for headaches. Can Tylenol also help relieve general stomach pain, or is it not effective for that?

I used to take it for any kind of pain and panicked once when my stomach ache got worse after taking it. My doctor reassured me that paracetamol doesn't really target stomach cramps or gastric issues. Once I used a heating pad and rested, it went away naturally.

Please take care of your body with patience and positivity. Painkillers can sometimes be a bit harsh on an empty stomach. Try drinking some warm warm water and resting in a quiet room, and if it still persists, do let a doctor guide you.

It is generally not the right medicine for stomach aches and can sometimes irritate your stomach lining. I usually prefer a cup of warm peppermint tea or chewing some fennel seeds for relief. But if your pain is very sharp or you have a fever, please see a doctor immediately.

I just had a bad bout of stomach infection last week and made the mistake of taking a regular painkiller. It didn't help at all and actually made my acidity worse. My doctor told me stomach pain needs specific antispasmodic medicines, so don't just self-medicate.

Please don't make the mistake of popping painkillers for stomach ache. I once ignored a sharp abdominal pain by taking normal tablets, and it turned out to be a severe infection that landed me in the hospital. Get it checked by a proper doctor before it gets worse.

No, it doesn't help with stomach pain. It is better to use a hot water bag or consult a doctor for the right medicine.

Honestly, I tried taking it once during exams when my stomach was acting up due to stress, but it did nothing. My roommate told me it's only for headaches and fever. I just had some curd rice and it felt much better.

Actually, it doesn't work on stomach pain at all, yaar. It is mainly for fever or body pain. Taking it on an upset stomach might even cause more burning sensation. Better to just drink coconut water and rest.

I totally feel you, stomach pain is the absolute worst. But paracetamol won't really help with cramps or gastric pain. Try sitting with a heating pad and drinking warm water, and if it doesn't settle down, definitely call your doctor.

In all my years, I have seen that stomach pain is usually best treated with light food and rest, not general pain tablets. These medicines can sometimes be hard on your liver if taken incorrectly. Don't worry, just eat some plain khichdi and let your stomach rest.
