Do truck drivers sleep in their trucks?

I often see big trucks parked on the highway late at night. I've always wondered if the drivers actually sleep inside their trucks. Is it common practice for them to stay overnight in their vehicles on long routes?

Yes, many truck drivers sleep in cabin berths on long routes. This irregular sleep and constant sitting can make them highly prone to diabetes. I always advise people to maintain proper meal timings and avoid sugary tea at roadside dhabas.

They often sleep in their cabins, which is quite cramped and stressful. This lack of proper rest can easily lead to high blood pressure. If you have family members in this profession, remind them to get regular health checkups.

Yes, they sleep in their trucks right outside those amazing highway dhabas! I always envy the hot tandoori rotis and dal makhani they get to eat, though sleeping in a truck cabin can't be very comfortable.

Yeah, they absolutely do. Most long-haul trucks in India have a small berth behind the seats where the drivers take shifts to sleep. It is a tough life but that is how they deliver goods across states on time.

Yes, they do! 🚚 Many trucks have cozy sleeper cabins built right behind the driving seat so they can rest during long journeys. It is amazing how they manage their lives on the wheels!
