Do they still give tb vaccinations?

My child is due for some vaccinations soon, and I was remembering getting a BCG shot for TB when I was little. Do they still give TB vaccinations to children in India as a routine part of immunization? I need to check her immunization card.

Of course they do, bro! Every newborn in India gets the BCG shot almost immediately at the hospital. Don't stress too much about it if you are checking for a baby, the pediatricians handle this automatically. Just keep their vaccine card handy.

Yes, the BCG vaccine for TB is still very much a part of the mandatory immunization schedule in India. It is usually given to newborns right after birth. If you are asking for an adult or missed it, it is best to consult a general physician to understand the current protocol.

Haan bilkul dete hain, BCG vaccine toh birth ke turant baad hi lag jaata hai baby ko. Yeh compulsory hota hai na India mein self-protection ke liye. Doctor se baat kar lo, woh card mein tick karke schedule bata denge.

In our times also we gave BCG to all our children, and today my grandchildren are getting the same. It is a time-tested vaccine and very necessary in our country. Rest assured, the government clinics and private hospitals still do it diligently.

Yes, absolutely! BCG is still given to babies to protect them early on. 👶 I remember my little nephew getting his shot last year. It leaves that tiny signature scar on the arm that almost all of us have!

Oh god, yes they do. My newborn just got his BCG shot last month and his crying kept me up all night, not that I was sleeping anyway. It is standard practice in every hospital here, you dont have to hunt for it.
