Do stomach ulcers cause vomiting?

Having really bad stomach pain and also frequent bouts of vomiting lately. My friend suggested it could be a stomach ulcer. Do stomach ulcers typically cause vomiting as a symptom?

I was researching stomach ulcers because my roommate has been feeling nauseous lately. It turns out that swelling in the stomach tissue can block the passage of food, which directly causes vomiting. It sounds really painful, so getting a medical checkup is super important.

Yes, severe stomach ulcers can definitely lead to vomiting, especially if the stomach lining is highly irritated or blocked. I always advise eating bland, non-spicy foods like boiled khichdi and buttermilk to calm the stomach. But if you are vomiting frequently, please consult a doctor immediately.

Hey, don't worry too much, but yes, ulcers can cause nausea and vomiting if they are acting up. It's your body's way of dealing with the acid irritation. Please don't ignore this; make sure you see a gastroenterologist soon so they can give you the right antacids.

Our stomach is highly sensitive to stress and anxiety, which can worsen ulcers and lead to vomiting. Please stay calm, drink warm water, and practice gentle breathing to relax your body. Take care of your health and let a doctor guide your recovery.

Dealing with chronic issues like thyroid has taught me that stomach problems can throw your whole system off. Ulcers can certainly cause vomiting, especially after meals. Make sure to get an endoscopy or blood tests done as advised by your doctor to monitor it properly.
