I completely understand why you are asking this, health anxiety can make you question every single thing we consume daily. There is some ongoing debate about artificial sweeteners, but normal consumption of soft drinks doesn't directly cause cancer. Still, cutting down helped calm my mind and body a lot. You are going to be okay, just take it easy.

Hey, don't stress too much about this! Having a soft drink once in a while at a party is not going to give you cancer. Yes, they have a lot of sugar and artificial things which aren't great for health, but moderation is key. Just enjoy your occasional drink and try to drink water or fresh juice most of the time.

No, they don't directly cause cancer. But yes, too much sugar is definitely bad for your overall health.

My grandmother always told us to avoid bottled drinks because they are filled with chemicals and preservatives, which is very true. When I asked our family doctor, he said while they don't directly cause cancer, the high sugar can lead to obesity and diabetes, which are risk factors for many diseases. So it is best to stick to buttermilk or tender coconut water as much as possible.

Please do not worry yourself with such scary thoughts. Drinking soft drinks occasionally is completely safe and won't cause any such major illness. Just try to focus on eating fresh ghar ka khana and drinking plenty of water every day.

Oh god, I literally spent three hours googling this last week because I drank a can of diet cola! From what I gathered, there is no direct link, but the chemicals in them do make me feel bloated and anxious anyway. It is so hard not to worry, but you are safe. Maybe we both can try switching to fresh nimbu paani from today?

I went through a major health scare recently and had to re-evaluate everything I put into my body. While researching and talking to oncologists, they assured me that soft drinks themselves do not cause cancer. The real issue is the weight gain and metabolic health decline from chronic sugar intake. I have stopped buying them completely now, and honestly, my body feels much lighter.

If soft drinks caused cancer, our entire college gang would have been in trouble by now with the amount of cold drinks we had! Jokes apart, they just have empty calories and zero nutrition. Don't worry about cancer, but do worry about your dentist's bill if you drink too many of them!
