Do small cavities need to be filled?

Dentist ne bataya ki mere daant mein kuch chhote cavities hain. Kya in chhote cavities ko turant fill karana zaroori hai, ya main thoda wait kar sakti hoon?

My dentist just told me I have a very tiny black spot but it doesn't hurt at all. Do I really need to get it filled right now, or can it heal on its own with good brushing? I am a bit scared of the drilling machine.

I have seen this query often here. If the cavity is just in the enamel stage, sometimes extra fluoride brushing can stop it. But if it has crossed into the dentin, a small filling now will save you from a painful root canal later. Better to get it sorted quickly.

My dentist explained that dynamic cavities can sometimes be remineralized if they are superficial. However, once decay penetrates the outer enamel shell, active restoration is required to prevent bacterial spread. I highly recommend getting an X-ray to confirm the depth.

Maintaining deep hygiene through herbal rinsing with neem or oil pulling can strengthen gums and teeth. But if physical decay has already hollowed the tooth structure, nature needs a little help. A simple filling done gently will keep your oral health in balance.

I ignored a tiny, painless cavity for a year thinking it was nothing. It slowly rotted from inside and I ended up spending fifteen thousand on a painful emergency root canal and cap. Please don't repeat my mistake, go get it filled immediately.

It is always better to catch them early! 🦷 A tiny 10-minute filling is so painless and cheap compared to waiting for a major toothache later. Get it done and you can smile without any worries! ✨
