Do root canals cause cancer scientific evidence?

I was reading some articles online and saw a few claiming that root canals can cause cancer. Is there any scientific evidence to back up such a serious claim? I'm a bit concerned as I might need one soon.

I always prefer natural cures, but for deep tooth decay, root canal is the only practical way to save the tooth. There is absolutely no scientific truth to the rumor that it causes cancer.

Don't worry at all! This is just a super old internet myth that has been completely busted by dentists. Root canals are totally safe and save us from terrible toothaches!

Bro, my dad just got a root canal last month and the dentist explained that this cancer theory is just WhatsApp university fake news. It’s a standard, safe procedure.

There is zero peer-reviewed scientific evidence linking root canals to cancer. Don't delay your dental treatment based on online rumors, as untreated infections can lead to serious health complications.

To keep our bodies healthy, we should avoid toxic rumors just like we avoid junk food. Root canals simply remove dead tissue from the tooth, keeping our oral health clean and safe.

I had a root canal done five years ago because of a severe cavity. It was a quick procedure and I have never faced any health issues related to it since then.
