Do rheumatoid arthritis nodules go away?

I've been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and I've started noticing some nodules forming on my hands. Will these rheumatoid arthritis nodules eventually go away on their own, or do they need special treatment?

My rheumatologist explained that rheumatoid nodules can shrink or even disappear if the systemic disease is well controlled with DMARDs or biologics. However, they rarely go away completely on their own without active medical treatment.

Haan, bilkul kam ho sakte hain agar treatment sahi chale toh. Par apne aap toh nahi jayenge na, isliye doctor se regular checkup karwate raho aur dawai bilkul miss mat karna.

Just like managing my sugar levels, keeping arthritis inflammation low requires strict discipline with medicine and diet. If you control your overall inflammation, these physical symptoms and nodules can definitely reduce in size.

Don't waste time waiting for them to disappear naturally. Book an appointment with your rheumatologist, get your inflammation markers tested, and adjust your treatment plan to address them effectively.

My mother had these painful nodules on her elbows for a long time. Once her doctor adjusted her arthritis medication, we noticed that they slowly started softening and shrinking over a few months.
