Do receipts give you cancer?

My friend always avoids touching receipts and uses hand sanitizer after handling them, saying the chemicals on them are bad for health. I found it a bit extreme. Do receipts give you cancer, or is this an exaggeration?

No, they don't. While thermal receipts contain BPA, the absorption through skin is incredibly low. Just wash your hands after handling them if you are really concerned.

The only thing receipts give me is a headache when I see how much my family spent! Don't worry, they don't cause cancer.

No, you don't need to worry. Normal contact with paper receipts is completely harmless in daily life.

Look, people spread too many rumors online. Just avoid putting receipts in your mouth or handling them with wet hands, and you have nothing to worry about.

Just ask for digital e-receipts on your phone or email. It is better for the environment anyway and saves you from carrying paper clutter.

Don't stress too much, yaar! If receipts caused cancer, cashiers would be in huge trouble. Just wash your hands before eating and you are completely fine.

There is no solid medical proof that handling paper receipts causes cancer. Focus your energy on managing real risks like keeping your blood sugar in control and eating balanced meals.

Instead of worrying about chemical papers, we should focus on eating chemical-free, fresh organic vegetables to build a strong immune system naturally.
