Do psoriasis patches fade gradually while using otezla?

I have psoriasis and my doctor recently put me on Otezla. I've started the treatment, but I'm curious about the timeline for improvement. Do psoriasis patches fade gradually while using Otezla, or is it a sudden change?

Haan bilkul, patches fade hone me thoda time lagta hai par result dikhta hai. Merely two months me dry scaling kam hone lagti hai, aur fir skin dheere dheere normal hoti hai na. Baseline doctor se touch me raho bas.

Otezla is a strong systemic medicine, and while it does fade patches, you must monitor your liver and kidney functions regularly. Never adjust the dose yourself and report any sudden mood changes or severe diarrhea to your doctor immediately. Safety should be your priority.

I tried so many oils and home remedies for my psoriasis but nothing worked until the doctor started this medicine. The patches do start fading slowly from the center. Just make sure to keep your skin well-moisturized with simple coconut oil alongside it.

I've been on Otezla for six months now. The fading is very gradual, so don't expect magic in the first few weeks. Make sure you take it with food to avoid the initial nausea, which is a very common side effect of this pill.

At Medanta, my dermatologist specifically explained that Otezla takes about 16 weeks to show its full effect. The scaling reduces first, and then the redness gradually fades. You should ask your doctor clearly about the timeline so you don't lose patience.
