Do polyps in gallbladder cause pain?

My mother recently had an ultrasound and they found some polyps in her gallbladder. She's been complaining of some mild pain on her right side after eating. Can polyps in the gallbladder cause pain, even if they're small?

Most gallbladder polyps are very small and don't cause any pain at all. Don't worry too much about it. Just keep getting your regular ultrasounds as advised by your doctor to monitor them.

Usually, silent polyps don't trouble us, but if there is congestion or inflammation, some mild discomfort can happen. Daily practice of Kapalbhati and gentle stretching keeps the abdominal organs healthy. However, if the pain gets sharp, it is best to consult your physician.

I totally get it, discovering polyps can make you super anxious and every little ache starts feeling scary. Actually, small polyps don't hurt, but if they block the duct, they can cause sharp pain. Hang in there and get a proper ultrasound done to see the size.

My uncle had gallbladder polyps and was quite worried. My grandmother suggested drinking warm water with turmeric, which helped with general digestion, but the doctor clearly said only large polyps above 10mm cause real pain. We followed the doctor's advice and kept tracking it every six months.

Look, if the polyp is small, there is no pain and no need for any immediate surgery. Just avoid eating very oily and heavy fried foods because that puts pressure on the gallbladder and causes gastric pain. Simple, light home-cooked food is the best solution for this.

Haan yaar, normal cases mein pain nahi hota hai. Agar bahot bada size ho tabhi trouble karega na. Just get an ultrasound done to see what the scene is, tension lene ki bilkul zarurat nahi hai.

At 52, my body finds new places to grow things I didn't ask for, like these gallbladder polyps. The doctor says they are too small to cause my daily acidity pain, so I can't even blame them. Just get it scanned and keep living your life, we have enough other things to worry about.

I went to Apollo for my checkup when they found a 4mm polyp. The specialist clearly told me that gallbladder polyps are usually painless and are just found accidentally during routine scans. If you have active pain, you should ask your doctor clearly because it might be gallstones instead.

Most of the time these tiny polyps are just sitting there quietly doing nothing! 😊 Unless they grow big, they won't cause any pain. Just eat healthy, stay active, and don't stress yourself out!

Generally, gallbladder polyps are asymptomatic. If you are experiencing actual pain in your upper right abdomen, it’s highly likely due to gallstones or indigestion, not the polyps. Get a proper USG scan done to rule out other issues.
