Do piles make your bum itch?

My bum has been incredibly itchy for the past few weeks, and I'm worried it's piles. I heard that itching is a very common symptom. Do piles specifically cause this kind of constant itching in the anal area?

Haan bilkul, itching is actually one of the main symptoms of piles na. Mucus leakage and swelling keep the area moist, which causes irritation. Scratch bilkul mat karna, nahi toh issue badh jayega.

It is such an incredibly annoying and uncomfortable feeling, I completely feel your pain. I used to be so anxious thinking it was some major infection. It is very common with piles, so please don't panic, just talk to a doctor.

Yes, it is a classic symptom. When I visited my doctor at Apollo, he explained that the swollen veins secrete mucus which irritates the skin. He prescribed a specific soothing ointment that worked within two days.

Itching can be due to piles, but it can also be a sign of worm infection or fissures. Please get a proper physical checkup from a physician. It is safer than assuming it is just piles and letting it worsen.

I am experiencing this exact same thing recently and felt too shy to ask anyone. Is it normal for the itching to come and go, or does it stay all day? I am thoda worried and don't know what to do.

The itching gets so intense sometimes, especially after using the washroom. Does anyone else feel like it gets worse when they sit for long hours at work? I am planning to see a doctor soon because it is getting hard to focus.

An itchy bum usually means your body is too heated from inside. Avoid spicy chilies, tea, and coffee for a few days. Focus on cooling foods like cucumber, buttermilk, and plenty of water to soothe the system.

For mild itching, a warm water sitz bath for 10 minutes gives great relief. You can also apply pure coconut oil locally. But if there is any bleeding or severe pain, please go to a clinic immediately.
