Do passing kidney stones hurt?

My brother recently suffered from kidney stones, and he said passing them was one of the most painful experiences of his life. Is it always that excruciating; do passing kidney stones hurt that much for everyone?

Honestly, it can be extremely painful depending on the size of the stone. My brother went through this and the best practical thing to do is drink a lot of water to help it flush out smoothly. If the pain gets too sharp or unbearable, please don't wait at home and consult your doctor immediately.

Haan yaar, pain to kaafi hota hai isme, stands out as one of the worst pains actually. Mera stone jab pass ho raha tha, meri to halat kharab ho gayi thi. So strictly follow whatever medicine your doc gives you to manage it, na.

I haven't had kidney stones myself, but from what my close friends have shared, it can cause quite a bit of severe discomfort. Everyone's body and pain tolerance are different though. It is always safer to talk to a urologist who can guide you properly rather than trying to guess the pain level.

I feel for anyone going through this because the pain can be really sudden and intense. While warm water and barley water can sometimes help in flushing tiny ones out, please remember these are just supports. If the pain is sharp or you feel nauseous, get to a clinic right away.

Yes, passing them can cause severe pain in your back or lower abdomen. I learned the hard way that lifestyle changes like cutting down extra sodium and getting regular ultrasound checkups are very important. Keep track of your blood pressure too during such painful episodes.

Oh god, it hurts like anything! I had to stop eating heavy food and stay away from my favorite spicy dishes for weeks when my stone was passing. Trust me, you want to keep drinking plain old water like crazy to get it over with quickly!
