Do men die from prostate cancer?

My friend recently got diagnosed with prostate cancer, and we are all very worried. I know it's common in older men, but I'm not clear on the severity. Do men actually die from prostate cancer, or is it usually manageable?

Yes brother, it is a serious illness and can be dangerous if ignored. But if we go to the hospital on time and get treated, many people recover fully and live a long, happy life.

It can be fatal if detected late, but modern screening like the PSA blood test makes it very manageable. I keep annual health checkup reminders on my calendar for my father to ensure we catch any changes early.

Hey, please don't stress too much looking at scary statistics online! It is actually one of the slowest-growing cancers, and most men treat it successfully and lead normal lives.

When my uncle was diagnosed, we were absolutely terrified and couldn't sleep for days. It can be life-threatening if it spreads, but please stay strong because early detection changes everything.

Yes, men do die from it, but let's be practical: mortality rates are low because of how slow it progresses. Just ensure the men in your family get regular urologist visits after a certain age.

It is a serious risk, indeed. While medical treatment is the main key to survival, maintaining a healthy weight and eating antioxidant-rich foods like tomatoes and green veggies supports recovery.

Yes, it is true that it can be fatal, which is why regular screening for men above 50 is so important.

I am 70 now and many of my friends have had prostate issues. With time and the right doctors, almost all of them are doing fine today, so do not lose hope.

My grandfather went through this a few years ago. It can be dangerous, but since we caught it during a routine urine checkup, his doctors managed it beautifully with proper care.

It can be fatal in advanced stages, yes. Keeping the body active with regular walking and staying fit helps immensely in tolerating the treatments and recovering well.
