Do mammograms cause breast cancer?

My doctor advised me to get a mammogram for routine screening. But I've seen some social media posts saying the radiation from mammograms can actually cause breast cancer. Is there any truth to this?

Honestly, I had the same fear when I went for my checkups last year before my recovery. But my doc explained that the radiation in a mammogram is extremely low, like almost nothing. It is actually what saved me because we caught things early, so please don't let this fear stop you.

Yes, completely agree with others here. The technology is very safe now and doctors always recommend it for safety.

No, they don't cause cancer at all, it's just a diagnostic tool. While you focus on these regular medical screenings, keeping a clean green diet also helps your overall breast health, but don't skip the test.

Beta, I have been getting mammograms done every two years since I turned fifty. I am seventy now and absolutely fine. It is a very safe test and we older folks have always relied on it to stay safe.

Look, the risk of missing a growing lump is way higher than any tiny exposure from the machine. I just take a morning slot, get it done in 15 minutes, and head straight to office. Just book the test and get peace of mind.
