Do liver supplements work?

My father has some liver issues, and a distant relative suggested he try liver supplements. I'm trying to find out if these supplements actually work to improve liver health. Are they genuinely effective, or just hype?

Haha, I wish these supplements were a magic cure so I could gulp them down after eating three plates of biryani! But honestly, no pill can replace a balanced diet. Just enjoy your food in moderation and drink lots of water instead.

Honestly bro, they are mostly a waste of money. I bought some expensive liver support tablets online last year, but my LFT reports didn't improve at all. I only saw real results when I stopped eating junk and started running daily.

When I visited my doctor at Aster Medcity for my checkup, I asked him about these liver supplements. He strictly advised me against buying them over-the-counter, as they can sometimes contain heavy metals. Please ask a qualified physician before starting any such brand.

I get so anxious about liver health and almost bought three different liver supplements online. But then I read that unprescribed herbal pills can sometimes cause liver injury, which terrified me. I really think we should just consult a proper doctor first to be safe.

My roommate was about to order these viral liver detox tablets to get glowing skin, but our senior told us they are totally useless. Our body detoxes itself naturally. Save your money and just buy some fresh fruits instead!
