Do liver detox pills work?

My wife is always pushing me to try these liver detox pills. I had a few drinks last night, and she said one of these would fix everything. Do these liver detox pills actually work like people claim, or is it just a myth?

My elders always said that simple buttermilk with ginger is the best way to cool and clear the digestive system. When I asked our family doctor about these commercial detox tablets, he said they are completely unnecessary. Trust your home-cooked meals and stay hydrated.

Nope, they don't really work! Our liver is already a super smart machine that cleans itself 24/7. Save your money for fresh juices and fruits instead! 🍊💚

They are mostly just clever marketing. To actually support your liver, focus on adding more green leafy vegetables, beetroot, garlic, and citrus fruits to your meals. A clean, plant-based diet does the job naturally without any chemical tablets.

Do not swallow these factory-made capsules, children. Drinking warm water with lemon or eating a piece of fresh papaya daily is far safer for your gut and liver. If you have actual jaundice symptoms, please go to a clinic immediately instead of home-treating.

I panicked so much when my blood report showed elevated liver levels and I almost bought a whole batch of detox pills. Thankfully, my doctor stopped me and said it recovers naturally with simple lifestyle changes. My levels became totally normal in a month just by avoiding oily food.

According to my gastroenterologist, there is zero clinical data proving that detox pills work, and some can even cause drug-induced liver injury. The liver metabolizes toxins on its own. For real liver protection, focus on maintaining a healthy weight and getting vaccinated for Hepatitis B.
