Do kidney stones raise blood pressure?

I have high blood pressure, and recently I also had a kidney stone removed. I'm wondering if there's any connection between the two conditions. Can kidney stones cause a temporary or long-term rise in blood pressure?

Beta, the intense pain from kidney stones can definitely make your heart race and raise your blood pressure temporarily. Drink some warm water and try to sit quietly in a calm room. But if the pain is too severe, you must go to a doctor to get both your pain and BP managed.

Haan beta, jab bahut tez dard hota hai toh ghabrahat mein BP badh jaata hai. It is normal for the body to react this way to severe pain. Please show a good doctor soon so they can give you medicine to ease the pain.

Of course, any extreme pain will shoot your blood pressure up because of the sheer stress on your body. Don't sit and worry about the BP reading too much right now. Just get to a doctor and treat the actual cause of the pain, which is the stone.

Yes, physical pain and the stress of a stone can elevate your blood pressure. Since I manage thyroid issues, I know how easily body systems can get off-balance. It is highly recommended to consult your doctor and get regular checkups to monitor both your BP and kidney health safely.

When I had a kidney stone last year, the pain was so shocking that my blood pressure spiked quite high at the clinic. The doctor told me it was just a temporary reaction to the extreme physical stress. Once the painkiller worked, my BP went back to normal.
