Do kidney stones naturally go away?

My friend told me that smaller kidney stones can sometimes just pass out of your system on their own. Is it true that kidney stones can naturally go away without intervention?

Small stones under 5mm can naturally pass if you drink enough water. Instead of rushing for expensive laser surgeries immediately, get an ultrasound done to check the stone size first. It will help you plan the treatment and save a lot of money.

While small ones can pass on their own, larger stones can get stuck and cause kidney damage. You should never assume they will just go away naturally without getting a scan first. Please consult a doctor to verify the size and position.

Actually yaar, my 4mm stone passed naturally just by drinking lots of coconut water and water. But it depends on the size, you know. If the stone is big, it won't go away easily and you will need proper medical help.

Stones that are small enough can pass through the urinary system naturally with proper hydration. However, their ability to pass depends on factors like size, shape, and location. Consulting a urologist is the safest way to determine if conservative management is appropriate.

Small ones can go away on their own if you flush them out with lots of liquids. I had to cut down on my salty snacks and drink plain water instead to help it pass. It is tough but worth it to avoid surgery.

Haan, chote stones toh bina kisi surgery ke nikal jaate hain agar aap khoob saara paani piyo. But agar size bada hai toh dikkat hoti hai na. Ek baar doctor se milkar size check karwana sahi rahega.

I totally get it, the thought of needing medical procedures for this can be quite scary. Many small stones do pass naturally with enough fluids, which is a big relief. Just take it easy and let your doctor guide you.

I was panicking so much thinking I would need an operation for my stone. But the doctor reassured me that small ones pass naturally all the time. He was right, it passed in a few days with just water and medicine.

They can pass naturally, but the process is not very pleasant. You basically have to drink water until you feel like a water tank and hope it washes out. Good luck with the midnight bathroom trips.

My 3mm stone just came out on its own after I drank like 4 liters of water daily for a week. It pinched a bit at the end but was totally fine. If it's small, it usually just flushes out.

Beta, small stones often dissolve or pass out if you drink warm water regularly. You can also try taking some pumpkin seed decoction or barley water. But if the pain is very severe, please consult a proper doctor.

I know how stressful it is to wait and wonder if the stone will pass on its own. It is a very anxious time. Just remember that many small stones do pass naturally with hydration, so try to stay positive and keep in touch with your doctor.

Drinking barley water (jau ka paani) and fresh coconut water helps small stones pass naturally. However, if you experience high fever, severe vomiting, or blood in your urine, do not wait for home remedies and see a doctor immediately.

I was told that drinking a lot of water can wash them out. But how do we know if the stone has actually passed or if it is still inside? Do we need to do another scan to be sure?
