Do kidney stones cause hematuria?

My recent urine test report came back, and it mentioned 'hematuria.' I've had kidney stone issues in the past, so I'm connecting the dots. Do kidney stones cause hematuria, and what does that exactly mean for my health?

Yes, blood in the urine or hematuria is very common with kidney stones because the stone scratches the inner lining as it moves. When I had it, I kept my physical activity very low until the bleeding stopped, on my doctor's advice. Once your doctor clears you, light walking can actually help move the stone, but rest first.

Oh, seeing blood in your urine can be so scary, but yes, kidney stones can definitely cause hematuria. It happened to me too and I panicked, but my doctor reassured me it's just the stone rubbing against the walls. Just make sure to drink a lot of fluids and get a doctor's opinion immediately.

Haan, bilkul hota hai hematuria. Doctor ne bataya tha ki jab pathri track me fasti hai toh bleeding ho sakti hai. Iska sabse simple ilaaj hai thoda paani ka intake badhao, but directly hospital jao agar bleeding zyada lag rahi hai toh. Isme laparwahi thik nahi.

In my experience, the strain of a stone moving can indeed cause mild bleeding in urine. Along with your medical treatment, try to practice deep breathing and gentle stretching like Balasana if your body allows, to keep the mind calm during this stressful time. Do not strain your body physically right now.

Any kind of blood in urine is a sign that needs urgent medical attention. Even if you think it is just a kidney stone causing it, you must get it verified by a doctor to rule out other infections or complications. Please do not delay your visit to the clinic.

I had hematuria on a busy workday and had to rush to the clinic. Don't waste time trying home remedies if you see blood in your urine; just book an appointment with a urologist or visit an emergency room. Get an ultrasound done quickly so you can get back to your routine without worries.

Yes, they can cause blood in the urine. Because I deal with PCOS, I am always extra careful about pelvic pain and unusual symptoms, so I wouldn't assume anything without a test. Please get an ultrasound and a urine routine test done to be absolutely sure of what's happening.
