Do kidney beans have carbs?

I'm trying to follow a low-carb diet for weight management, and I'm looking at different food options. I really enjoy kidney beans, but I'm not sure about their carb content. Do kidney beans have many carbs that I should be mindful of?

Yes, kidney beans are primarily carbohydrates, though they are complex carbs with a high fiber and protein content. They are excellent for sustained energy, so don't fear them.

I was checking this for my diet chart too. One cup of boiled rajma has around 40 grams of carbs, but almost 15 grams of that is dietary fiber, which is actually very healthy.

They do have carbs. If you are counting carbs for a clinical condition like severe diabetes or kidney issues, please get a personalized diet plan checked by a qualified clinical nutritionist.

They contain good, wholesome carbs that nourish the body deeply when consumed mindfully. Preparing them with natural spices like cumin helps in smooth digestion and nutrient absorption.

I am trying to follow a low-carb diet and got scared seeing the carb count of rajma. Does eating kidney beans cause weight gain for others too, or is it okay to have them in moderation?
