Do infants run fever with rsv?

Our pediatrician mentioned that our infant might have RSV, and I'm concerned about symptoms. Does RSV typically cause infants to run a fever? I want to know what to look out for.

Oh god, my baby has a slight cough and a warm forehead right now. Does RSV always start with a high fever or can it just be a mild temperature? I am getting really worried, did anyone else's baby have this without a high fever?

Dekho yaar, RSV is a respiratory virus, so fever is definitely going to be there. Don't sit and wait for home remedies to work here. If the baby is struggling to breathe or has a congested chest with fever, take them straight to a pediatrician.

Hey, don't stress too much, okay? Yes, babies do get a fever with RSV, but with proper rest and the doctor's guidance, they bounce back perfectly fine. Just keep a checklist of symptoms and stay in touch with your pediatrician.

We just got discharged from the hospital last week because of RSV. Yes, my 6-month-old had a really high fever along with a very wheezy cough. Please watch their breathing closely, that is more critical than the fever itself.

I have seen many babies in our family deal with RSV during the monsoon and winter seasons. Yes, fever is very common as the body fights the virus. Keep the baby hydrated with breastmilk or formula, and use a saline nasal spray if their nose is blocked.
