Do i need yellow fever vaccine for peru?

We are thinking of a family vacation to Peru later this year. I was checking travel guidelines and saw something about yellow fever. Does anyone know if this vaccine is required for Indian tourists visiting Peru?

If you are visiting the Amazon region in Peru, it is highly recommended. Even if some direct city flights don't strictly check it, many transit airports and returning flights to India will demand the yellow booklet. Better to block half a day and get it done rather than risking your business trip.

Bro, if you are planning to go to Machu Picchu or Lima only, it's not strictly mandatory, but if you go to the jungle areas, you need it. Honestly, Indian immigration can be very annoying when you come back from South America. Just get the shot and keep the yellow card with you.

My joints hurt just thinking about long flights, but yes, you should get the yellow fever shot. Even if Peru doesn't ask, our Indian airport staff loves checking papers when you return. Save your energy for the travel and get the vaccine done.

Go with a peaceful mind and take care of your health first. The vaccine is recommended for safe travel, especially for forest areas in Peru. May your journey be safe and blessed; just complete these official steps so you don't face any hurdles.

Hey! I was planning a Peru trip recently. If you are going to the Amazon basin, you definitely need it. Even if you aren't, having that official yellow card makes airport transits so much smoother and stress-free.

Hey, I looked this up for a backpacking plan. You don't necessarily need it for just Lima or high-altitude spots, but if you step into the rainforest, it's a must. Also, Indian customs might ask for the certificate when you land back, so why take the risk?

For daily immunity I always prefer tulsi and haldi, but for international travel like Peru, natural things won't work for official entry. You must get the actual yellow fever vaccine from an authorized clinic. Don't ignore these official health requirements for travel.

Yes, it's highly advised for Peru, especially if you travel east of the Andes. Remember, the vaccine needs to be taken at least 10 days before you land there. Make sure the clinic prints your passport number correctly on the yellow book.
