Do i need to fast for liver blood test?

My doctor has recommended a liver function test for me as part of a general check-up. I'm not sure if I need to fast for this particular blood test. Can anyone tell me if it's necessary to fast before a liver blood test?

Haan, liver function test (LFT) ke liye 10-12 ghante ki fasting chahiye hoti hai. Subah bina chai piye jana padta hai na, tabhi liver enzymes ki correct report aati hai.

Yes, for a Liver Function Test (LFT), a fasting period of 10 to 12 hours is usually recommended. Eating before the test can temporarily alter enzyme and bilirubin levels, so it is best to go early morning on an empty stomach.

Dekho boss, liver test karwana hai toh subah khali pet hi jao. Rat ko dinner jaldi kar lo aur subah bina kuch khaye piye blood sample de do. Report ekdum accurate aayegi.

I have been doing annual health checkups for the last thirty years. For any liver panel or ultrasound, fasting is always mandatory. Just have an early dinner the night before and you will be completely fine.

When I get my routine tests done for BP and liver health, they always insist on a fasting sample. Try to avoid heavy oil or spicy food the previous night too, as it can affect your triglyceride and liver markers.

I have to do routine blood monitoring, and LFT is often included. You must fast overnight for about 10 hours. Please consult your physician afterward with the reports to see if any dosage adjustments are needed.

Yes, fasting for 10-12 hours is required for a liver function test to get accurate enzyme levels.

I was so worried before my first liver test that drinking water would ruin the results! Don't worry, plain water is perfectly fine, but absolutely don't eat anything for 10 hours. Hope your reports come out perfect!
