Do gallstones cause abnormal liver function tests?

My doctor found gallstones during a routine check-up, and my recent blood tests also showed some elevated liver enzymes. Could these two things be related? I'm wondering if the gallstones are affecting my liver.

Honestly, I tried so many home remedies like apple cider vinegar and beetroot juice for my gallstones, but nothing changed my blood reports. When my liver function test came back totally abnormal, my doctor explained that a blocked stone was causing it. Don't waste time on home cures if your reports are fluctuating, consult a doctor immediately.

Listen, don't panic seeing an abnormal LFT report. It actually happens quite often because gallstones can easily irritate the liver pathways if they get stuck or cause inflammation. Just take it easy, don't google too much, and show the report to your doctor tomorrow morning. They will guide you on whether it needs medicine or a small surgery.

I had a similar issue last year when my liver enzymes went up due to a small gallbladder stone. My doctor told me to halt my heavy gym workouts and stick to very light evening walks until my liver enzymes settled down. Definitely check with your specialist before doing any physical activity when your liver tests are out of range.

Yes, gallstones absolutely cause abnormal liver tests if they block the bile flow. I had to take sudden leave from office because my SGOT and SGPT levels shot up drastically due to this. Don't delay your doctor's appointment because ignoring this can lead to severe pain or jaundice, which will mess up your work schedule even more.

Drinking warm water with lemon and taking light food helps keep the digestion easy when you have gallbladder issues. But let me be very clear, if your liver tests are showing high bilirubin or enzymes, it means a stone might be blocking the bile duct. Please get an ultrasound done and see a gastroenterologist instead of trying any self-treatment.

Hey, don't stress too much about the reports! It is super common for gallstones to mess with your liver function tests because everything is connected inside. Just book a quick consult with a good specialist and get it sorted out. You'll be absolutely fine, just take a deep breath.

As someone managing diabetes, I have to be extremely careful with any internal inflammation. When I had gallstones, my liver doctor closely monitored my LFTs because fluctuating liver enzymes can also affect your insulin sensitivity. Make sure you get a proper medical opinion and keep your blood sugar in check during this time.
