Do eggs cause kidney stones?

My husband loves eggs for breakfast every day, and I also enjoy them. Recently, my aunt was talking about how eating too many eggs can cause kidney stones. I'm a bit worried now, is this actually true?

Honestly eggs in moderation are fine, but if you have a history of stones, excess protein can sometimes load the kidneys. I also deal with high BP, so I have to keep my overall diet and salt in check. Best is to get your kidney function and uric acid levels tested once a year just to be sure.

When my husband had a stone, we went to a specialist at Apollo. The doctor told us that moderate egg consumption is perfectly fine, but hydration is the main key. Please don't guess based on internet articles; just ask a urologist who can guide you according to your body's chemistry.

Beta, excess of anything is bad for the body. Eggs are warm in nature, so having one or two a day is fine, but don't eat four-five daily. Drink barley water (jau ka paani) weekly as it is very good for keeping the kidneys clean. But always consult a proper vaidh or doctor if there is pain.

Eggs alone don't cause them, but eating too many might increase calcium oxalate levels in some people. I always say drink plenty of nimbu paani and normal water to flush out toxins naturally. If you ever get severe lower back or side pain, don't rely on home remedies, go straight to a doctor.

Actually, I just started gymming and eating three eggs daily, so this question got me a bit worried. Is it only the yellow yolk that causes issues, or the white part too? If anyone has had stones before, please tell me how much water we should ideally drink daily.

Mere husband ko do baar kidney stones ho chuke hain, so I have researched this a lot. Normal egg eating won't cause stones if you keep your body hydrated. We tried several remedies like kulthi ki dal, and it really helped him clear the small deposits. Just keep your water intake high and you will be fine.
