Do edibles cause heart attacks?

My friend told me that edibles can be risky for the heart and might even cause heart attacks. I use them sometimes, so this has me worried. Do edibles really cause heart attacks?

Listen to me, they don't directly cause a heart attack in a healthy person, but they can definitely cause panic and make your heart race fast. If you ever feel uncomfortable, just sit down, drink cold water, and breathe slowly. Don't take unnecessary risks.

They can cause a sudden spike in heart rate and blood pressure, which is very risky if you have underlying issues. I had a bad episode of severe palpitations once and had to go to the emergency room. Please get your heart health checked and be extremely careful.

I have had friends who got super paranoid after consuming them, thinking they were having a heart attack. It is usually just a severe panic attack triggered by the high dose. But if the chest pain is real, never ignore it.

The body is a temple and anything that disrupts its natural peace can cause imbalance. Keep your thoughts positive, practice deep breathing exercises daily, and try to avoid substances that make your mind and heart anxious.

Managing my diabetes means I have to keep my blood vessels healthy. Any substance that fluctuates your heart rate or blood pressure isn't good for metabolic health. Always prioritize your safety and consult your physician.

I was reading some medical research on this recently. High doses can temporarily stress your cardiovascular system, but a direct link to causing heart attacks in young, healthy individuals seems very rare. Still, better to be safe.

At my age, climbing two flights of stairs fast feels like a risk, let alone taking these things! Jokes apart, any external stimulant can put load on an older heart. If you are past your 40s, better to keep your life simple and avoid these experiments.

I discussed this with a cardiologist friend. He explained that cannabinoids can cause acute cardiovascular effects like tachycardia and orthostatic hypotension. For someone with undiagnosed coronary disease, this sudden strain can trigger a cardiac event.

I took a high dose once and my heart rate went up to 140 bpm, which terrified me. It took me hours to calm down. While it wasn't a heart attack, the stress on my body was very real, so I've completely stopped now.
